they whole world would be surprised if DSAI lost this time. Even if he decided to contest Bandar Tun Razak and Kulim, it would be the 8th wonder of the world to see BN wins. to oveturn 13 000 majority? it is very close to impossible.

as I was growing up, Ezam was somebody that the youngsters looked at. He was charismatic, (appeared)mentally strong and firm in his struggle. He was the younger version of "DSAI". Once(lepas SPM kot), I attended his ceramah at Taman Melewar. Now, he is nothing less than for example seeing Steven Gerrard putting on the disgrace shirt of Man Utd. Disgusting....

I believe as a Malaysian, I have the right to voice out my opinion anywhere.


as a Malaysian, I also believe more than half of Malaysians witnessed the debate between Anwar Ibrahim(DSAI) vs Information Minister.

Before I start, to be fair, we have to congratulate Dr Shabery Cheek for his bravery. One thing that we regretted was his constant personal attacks on DSAI, which was clearly stated that it is strictly prohibited.

Even if you were not a fan of DSAI, I think everyone would agree Anwar came up as the winner tonight. When we talk about a winner, there must be a loser. As a student, I don't think there was any loser there, but Anwar was clearly better. He was fluent, charismatic and well prepared for this event. He managed to explain his thoughts clearly, with no stuttering at any stage.

On the other hand, Dr Shabery's constant personal attacks on DSAI has highlighted his weakness. Fair enough he was defending his UMNO-led Government team, but he's also consistently avoiding the questions posed to him. Anwar clearly said there is no doubt on Petronas's credibilities, but the question is how is the fund managed by the Government. Instead of answering, he diverted the focus on Anwar's past records.

As a student, I am willing to be corrected. However I believe more than 90% of Malaysians think Anwar was the winner of the event.

UMNO PAS MUZAKARAH

Another positive development is to hear both parties UMNO and PAS are happy to sit down together and discuss issues intellectually. Moving towards a more challenging world, the Malays have no choice but to be and stay united.

If you noticed, in some of my entries I did not specifically mention which party is right or wrong. Instead, I talked about the correct way of thinking. It is wrong for you to travel the world around telling this person has committed a crime when he or she has not been at least, investigated. That's the reason why I did not mention even a word to suggest Saiful is the criminal. I said I have a tendency not to believe. More than 90% did not believe Anwar committed the crime, according to Malaysiakini.

Let's talk about Ezam. To be fair, many issues that he's brought up are the right ones. The fact that he's in Barisan Nasional does not mean you can foul everything that he does. Islam promotes us to be fair to everyone. I can't remember the verse of Quran that says something like this - 'janganlah kerana kebencian kamu terhadap seseorang membuatkan kamu tidak adil, bersikaplah adil kerana adil itu lebih hampir ke pada takwa' . Please, please and please correct me there.



Back to Ezam, why people are so unhappy with him are simple. Previously he talked about the 6 boxes of secret documents, corruption practices among BN leaders and most importantly on how he would never join UMNO. Now that he's in UMNO, he hardly raises any reports on corruption among BN leaders anymore. Why la?

to whichever camp you want to express your support, the best way to justify your choice is through facts and figures as your back up.

an important message, everyone has their own view(s) in each issue. However, your view does not necessarily conform the actual truth. Your view remains just a view, unless it is supported by evidences.

An example, you can't accuse someone of being wrong unless you listen to both sides. A friend once said ' anwar mana pernah deny dia pernah liwat ke tak dulu'.

By reading 1000 blogs and websites, that does not justify your thought. There are thousands more out there. If you have no knowledge, then don't speak. You will make yourself look dumb.

I might be proved wrong anytime. It's hard to learn from mistakes sometimes, if that's the only way, then so be it. The time has passed when everything about BN is right and everything is wrong when it is Pakatan rakyat. We don't live in the era anymore.

Malaysians are hit with another storm. Anwar Ibrahim has been accused with sodomy again. While I have the tendency not to believe this news, I urge everyone to be just in their views. We are taught on how to deal with this in the Noble Quran

6. Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jika datang kepadamu orang fasik membawa suatu berita, maka periksalah dengan teliti agar kamu tidak menimpakan suatu musibah kepada suatu kaum tanpa mengetahui keadaannya yang menyebabkan kamu menyesal atas perbuatanmu itu.(Al-Hujuraat,ayat 6)

I wonder if UMNO thinks they are actually accelerating their rehabilitation or maybe, its funeral? I see this as another attempt of political suicide.However, as I say, we have to remain fair and just.

I will start writing properly in a very near future. I have written absolutely nothing but rubbish over the past 2-3 weeks. The mood is just not there. There are some issues that I feel I need to clarify a bit more.

We need to think before we express our thoughts. Just stop talking if you're doing it for the sake of just voicing out your opinions. Opinion is one thing, the validity of your opinion is another important thing.

I know, people easily get carried away after being given compliments. That's when you/I need to be extra careful.

although this is my 1st entry in 10 days, it is my 5th of this month. So I am not doing that bad. I was away last weekend and life is pretty busy on working days. The term 'working days' does not imply I have started working. I am still a student.

For current overseas students, they see very little the impact of the recent price hike of fuel. What you read in online newspapers does not tell you much. Suffice to say, prices of almost everything have skyrocketed. Today, RM50 was not enough to fully fill my 660 Kancil petrol tank. 7 years ago, when life was relatively sweet, rm15 would be enough to take you to and fro KL-Seremban. Of course rm15 for Kancil la kawan...

Iswara pun lebih rm100 utk penuh..apa macam?

From my point of view, Pak Lah won't last long as PM. I just can't foresee it. Firstly, BN's heavy defeat in 12th General Election. 2ndly, UMNO's internal problem. The list of problem never seems to get thinner I don't think. Will he go down in the history as Malaysia's worst PM?

If given the choice, I'd like to talk more. However, AUKU is yet to be abolished, so I will just store my thoughts in my small brain for now. I have told you before, politics are interesting.

I was thinking of posting pictures this time, but could not find where I kept my external hard disk's cable.

Anyway, I am in the middle of an attachment in HKL. Malaysia is fun, everyone is friendly here. The consultant and specialist are so keen to teach the juniors. Another factor that adds up the fun is having old friends working at HKL. Azlan Ajaib, Adam, Buff and many more. These are the people mostly I last saw them 7 years ago. They are now on the way up in becoming successful men. On my 1st day, I saw somebody with name tag - Dr. Adam. lol!

When talking about workload, it's absolutely hectic. They work non-stop from 7am-5pm, on call - 7am-5pm the next day(34hrs non-stop). It's crazy! However, the fact they are still able to put on smiley faces the next day is just wonderful.

will I be able to stand it should I come back for good end of this year? I don't know. What I know is Malaysia is the place where I want to be at, the place I call home.

I felt guilty for what I did few days ago.

I was at TESCO Mutiara Damansara 3 days ago. On my way to car park, there was this Chinese guy waiting at the entrance holding a donation box for Sizchuan earthquake victims. I chose to ignore him. I went away to where I parked my car.

Somehow, I felt guilty. It's ironic because I had donated twice before. I was thinking, as a Malay and Malaysian, I have let Malaysians down. Firstly, because I am a Muslim. Secondly, I am not helping towards the formation of Bangsa Malaysia.

I could have made the man thinking why is this Malay dude not helping these Chinese people? What if, one day, Malaysia is hit hard by Tsunami for instance. Worse case, it happens in Malay dominated area? Maybe these Chinese and Indians will go 'why should we help these Malays, they did not help us when we were suffering?'

It's a mistake. I hope it won't happen again in the future. Sorry

I'm sure everyone is aware of the very newly announced increased price of fuel. I had to go to Petronas twice for petrol, and the queue was just terrible.

Whatever it is, there is not much that we can do to stop this from coming. Every other part of this world is also affected. If you don't have any knowledge regarding to this issue, it's better to keep quiet or maybe come up with ideas on how to minimise its impact. Commerce and economics are not my majors, so don't expect too much from me.

talking is cheap. Everyone can spend hours talking about this in warong/mamak stall, it's easy.

What I would like to suggest here goes specifically to smokers. 1 box of 20 can cost you rm7 each. In total approximately rm200 monthly will be spent on cigarettes. If there are for e.g. 1 million smokers out there, RM200m will be saved monthly. It's a huge number. This money now can be used for other beneficial reasons.

Without using 1 million smokers for an example, that rm200 saved is perhaps sufficient enough to cover the 80cent rise in fuel.



When it's analysed in just slightly deeper, one can expect more than rm200 will be saved. Smoking-related diseases will go down, less money paid for medication, less cancer, less heart attacks and so many other things will be prevented.

Smoking related diseases are not just affecting yourselves, many kids are suffering from things like asthma from secondary smoking. More money will now also be saved here.

Having mentioned all these, we still have to remember that talking is cheap. Smoking is extraordinarily addictive. The number is very small for one to quit smoking after one attempt. On average in Western countries is 4 attempts before one will successfully quit smoking.

Any attempt to quit smoking should now be regarded as a success. It takes a step forward before you reach the victorious end of the road.

The question now is, what can we do for the non-smoking majority?

I was at Indonesia for a few days. It was shocking to read in Indonesia's press that Ezam was re-joining UMNO. Anything is possible in politics huh? However you want to speculate, nobody really knows his sincerity. Maybe he was telling the truth reform is his main agenda. What is interesting here is the decision that he made, is it worth it to 'jilat ludah sendiri' after going through what he went through? Being detained under ISA, constantly got jailed, n many more..

It remains to be seen how this is helping the re-invention of UMNO. What we read mostly is nothing more than just speculations.

it's shocking really. National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia made a suggestion yesterday for a review on uniform for school girls. The ever irrelevant Sisters in Islam came up with these -Something must be seriously wrong with local men if the sight of girls in their school uniform turns them on and What? Even wearing baju kurung is still not enough?. Eh, if that was the case, we should allow these girls to come to school with just bikini. They should not get worried, because what we need to do is to correct the mindset of male race.

This is absolutely ridiculous!

Have they not been taught that a man is designed to be attracted to woman and vice versa?

If this is a statement coming out from a non-Muslim, it is her right to do so. Their religion has their own rights and wrongs.

Now let's go to Champs League. I did not watch the match unfortunately, I had to be at class. I was told it's an exciting match. Maybe Man Utd deserved to win, I don't know. It's been a fantastic season for them to be sincere. How wrong was I to guess Arsenal to be the champions? Who would have thought MU to win doubles?

If I need to choose the Most Valuable Player, it has to be only 1 person. That person is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. Maybe Torres deserves that as well. He's been magnificent. Being a fair person, I don't think anyone did better than Ronaldo. 42 goals from midfield. That's a feat that will take ages before anyone breaks it.

I have not congratulated Man Utd fans yet on the doubles. So here it is,

Definition of 'life'

everyone's getting restless with tsunami-like disasters occuring all over the world. Earthquake in China, Nargis in Myanmar, Naqbah in Palestine, Tun Mahathir's quitting UMNO, Obama vs Clinton, Lebanon and Champions' League's Chelsea vs Man Utd.

Once a friend of mine asked,

F : do you have any tv series in your hard disk?
M : nope, only House season 3.
F : you don't have a life la

the conversation went something similar to above.

My passion lies in 4 inter-related subjects - Islam, politics, electronic gadgets, and sports especially football. Obama's recent win in Oregon interests me more than who's winning American Idol.

It depends on the definition of 'life' that you hold onto. I watch series too, but I am no fanatic to most series. If you think you are super cool by watching series, then so be it.

I find it super cool to watch Liverpool - Arsenal for instance.

It's a subjective topic. No answer is a right or wrong answer. Debate all you want, if you wish to do so.

One thing for sure, it's not cool posting your pictures going clubbing, holding a can of beer and lighting a cigarette. To me, I will call this an 'empty' life. empty = no life. There will come a day when you/I will regret this wasted time.

I have not written a proper entry for quite some time now. I have been busy lately. Maaf ye..

There are too many problems in this world nowadays. It happens everywhere, not only in Malaysia. Another problem is too many people want to talk, as if they are experts in that particular issues. Leave it to the real experts, and do not use what you think or feel as an argument. You will end up look like an immature 7 year old boy when actually you are e.g. 23 years old.

I am no expert too on the other hand. I am merely sharing my insight, and happy to be corrected if I am wrong, even if it means I have to swallow my pride. I try to use facts and figures to back my points, and I am still a human after all. Everyone makes mistakes.

When one talks about Islamic/Malay issues, it is 90% wrong to say 'Inilah masalah bangsa kita', Inilah Melayu' or 'Melayu, standard la tu'. I do that too, without meaning it when I say it. That is just so wrong. There are still many who rise to the expectation. Some have proved in many fields that they are the best, if not better than others.

Let's look in another perspective. Christians have been dogged with problems too. They are no longer practiced RELATIVELY(with time,place) in the Western countries. You hear many stories priests get charged in courts for sodomising, being pedophiles, Protestants vs Catholics and many more. You will know all these if you read newspapers of course.

Look at Buddha. They have their problems too. Many leaving their religion, for instance.

Look at atheist. They have troubles deciding what's best for them. 100 atheists with different style of thinking will find it difficult to find common grounds.

I emphasize, it's a huge mistake to generalise your statement. Don't make yourself look like a dumb. Rather than thrash talking on blogs, mamak or newspapers why don't we translate these words into action?

Ketiadaanmu memaksa aku memakai topi keledar setiap masa sebagai langkah keselamatan. Aku seperti tidak percaya dengan apa yang telah terjadi. Aku bagaikan tergelincir dari orbit bumi dan terpelanting ke ruang angkasa, apabila daya tarikan graviti terhadapku tiada lagi berfungsi setelahaku tersungkur dalam percintaan yang berlarutan hingga ke rubber-set. Seluruh perjalanan hidupku menjadi gelita bagaikan terperangkap di dalam gua yang gelap dan ditemani stlagit dan stlagmit yang bagai sembilu.

Kondominium cinta yang kita bina dari makgat basikal dan kipas helikopter akhirnya musnah setelah kau berpaling tadah. Ternyata sikapmu mulai berubah bila Malaysia mula melancarkan satelit MEASAT-1 ke ruang angkasa raya. Sejak itu kau sering melarikan diri bila terserempak dengan abang iparku. Akhirnya aku menyedari bahawa diri ini tidak diperlukan lagi.

Sejak kau tiada, aku sering menyendiri berbual-bual dengan pokok betik untuk mengisi masa lapang. Kadang-kadang aku mengikat botol oren pada tiang rumah agar nampak lebih cantik. Saban hari aku termenung di dalam peti sejuk mengenangkan dirimu yang entah kemana menghilang. Aku cuba bermain badminton sambil makan mi hailam untuk melupakanmu, tetapi aku tak berdaya. Lalu aku membakar mesin basuh dan membelasah empat ekor itik serati jiran sebelah sebagai tanda aku tidak bersalah.

Mengapa? Mengapa sayang? Mengapa ini semua bisa terjadi? Mengapa setelah kau curi hatiku, kau rompak cintaku lantas kau bunuh cintaku sehingga kau terbunuh dalam kemalangan cinta yang ngeri. Aku bagaikan terhimpit dan dihimpit oleh guni-guni batu yang kau timpakan di atas belakangku. Derita yang kautimpakan itu adalah bebanan yang terlalu berat untuk ku tanggung bagaikan mendukung 75 ekor biawak dan 386 ekor anak beruk. Dan kini segala harapanku hancur berkecai bagaikan aku terjatuh dari Menara Kuala Lumpur dan dihempap oleh Menara Berkembar Petronas lalu tersangkut di celah landasan LRT dan kemudiannya digilis pula keretapi Komuter hingga aku hancur berkecai. Oh! terlalu berat dugaan yang kutempuhi kini.

Kini segalanya telah pun berakhir. Aku sedar siapa aku. Aku hanya insan biasa yang suka makan mi segera. Aku bukan McGyver, McDonald's, Superman atau Kesatria Baja Hitam. Aku juga bukanlah Ultraman seperti yang kau idam-idamkan. Aku menyedari kekurangan diri dan kekurangan kemudahan awam di tempat sendiri. Tak perlu dikesali lagi kerana nasi telah menjadi capati dan tin sardin yang ku genggam ini telah pun luput tarikhnya. Segalanya sungguh mengharukan dan semua hadiah pemberianmu termasuk enjin kapal selam telah pun aku cincang untuk dibuat makanan lembu.

Walaupun segalanya telah pun berakhir, disini, diatas pokok getah ini aku tetap menunggu kau akan kembali. Selagi ada nafas ini, selagi ada kompleks membeli-belah SOGO, selagi ada kedai kasut selipar di sekitar Argentina, selagi kumpulan Metallica tidak berpecah, aku tetap menunggumu sehinggalah mentari terbelah lapan. Namun aku menyedari bahawa penantianku hanyalah sia-sia belaka. Akhirnya aku mengambil keputusan mektamad untuk menunggu tiang elektrik dihadapan rumahku berbuah. kalau tiang elektrik berbuah nanti, aku poskan buahnya kepadamu. Nak tak?

Wanita, Antara Objek dan Subjek

to begin with, I'd like to wish Happy Mother's Day to all mothers!

I don't know a perfect way how to start this. So bear with me o.k.

Last week I was rostered to be in Delivery Suite for 1 week. I'm not talking this from a medical point of view. Let's view it from another angle.

Dan Kami - Allah - berwasiat kepada manusia supaya berbuat baik kepada kedua orangtuanya. Ibunya telah mengandungnya dengan menderita kelemahan di atas kelemahan - yakni terus -menerus -dan ceraian susuannya dalam dua tahun. Hendaknya engkau bersyukur kepadaKu dan kepada kedua orangtuamu."(Luqman: 14)

Women are not appreciated highly enough. Seriously, a week is enough to tell how difficult it is to bear a developing fetus in the womb for 9 months. The pain levels increase proportionately with time. It does not stop there. Next, they have to be in delivery suite for as long as 24 hours sometimes, just to give birth, regardless of whether it's a planned or unplanned one. Sometimes this is so hard that some women die. Some of the procedures were quite traumatising to me, yet these ladies had the courtesy to say 'thanks' to their husbands for just being there for them. It should be the opposite way, shouldn't it?

A husband would appreciate his wife more if he knew this, and he should be grateful he was born a man. I have witnessed it a few times, few men cried after the delivery.

Now, seriously, I can't understand why would anyone ever raise their voice or worse, walk out on his/her mum? They have no idea what their mothers went through.

"Dan Tuhanmu telah menentukan supaya engkau semua jangan menyembah melainkan Dia
dan supaya engkau semua berbuat baik kepada kedua orangtua. Dan kalau salah seorang di antara keduanya atau keduanya ada di sisimu sampai usia tua, maka janganlah engkau berkata kepada keduanya dengan ucapan "cis", dan jangan pula engkau menggertak keduanya, tetapi ucapkanlah kepada keduanya itu ucapan yang mulia - penuh kehormatan.

I am different, full stop.

1. I am user of Nokia at present. I have never liked Nokia and never will. Everyone knows I am a fan of Samsung, I even held U-600 with both hands before I decided to buy Nokia. What made me change? I have my reasons.

2. I hate I-Pod. I've always hated it and that will never change. That's why I decided to go with Sony.

3. I hate common things, that's why I hate Man Utd.

4. I partially disagreed with 'Boikot Israel 'and will continue to do so. I have my reasons, I am aware of many fatwas and I abide them. They have come up with statistics to show that it has worked. They claimed Israel have lost few Billions, which I still believe is not good enough.

e.g.,
Profit 5 billion - Loss 1 billion = Profit 4 billion.

Some of them still have the mindset of fighting with weakened Israel rather than building a stronger Muslim community. I came up with my thoughts previously, and they disagreed. Let me put it this way,

Profit 5 billion - loss 1 billion + (-Muslims gaining 1 billion) = 3 billion


The focus needs to change. We need to start building our strength again. We need to start supporting the Muslims, rather than hoping the foes to become weaker. The first equation shows they are still getting 4 billion to empower their armoury.

2nd equation shows they will have 3 billion at their disposal, while the Muslims have 1 billion.


To simplify this, let us start supporting our economy. Those 2 objects above are the things I am currently using here in Auckland. You see, I am weakening Israel by RM8 and helping Muslims becoming RM8 richer. It is small, but surely will be bigger if it's done collectively. kan jadi macam killing 2 birds with one stone..

This is also why I made public my support towards the use of Dinar currency. We are not helping the course, instead we continue to make them stronger, indirectly.

I hate Man Utd not because they are so strong, but because Liverpool can't beat them. Liverpool are not strong enough to be the champions. Let's face it. and for them to be at the top, they need to strengthen the team, as shown by that 2nd equation. I would not enjoy seeing Liverpool beating 9-men Man Utd. I would rather see 10-men Liverpool beating on form Man Utd.

p/s : 1. One of the reasons with Boikot Israel, who would be responsible to secure new jobs for Muslims working in Coca Cola, if they were dismissed by their employer? You are implicating more losses to the Muslims, totally opposite to what the plan was made for.

Conservative Malays

Long have I wanted to discuss this issue - Malaysian Christians' request on using Allah in Bible. Few reasons have stopped me from doing so, mainly due to my lack of knowledge to justify my thoughts. Precisely, there are 2 requests, one is using Allah and secondly having Bible in Malay.

Many(not most) conservative Malays rejected this request. They cited this would endanger the aqidah of Muslims. They came up with other claims too. I dare not discuss this issue in length. Honestly I am no expert. Dr. Asri(Mufti Perlis) wrote on this,

Jumaat,18/4/2008 -Kementerian Kesihatan di Gaza Khamis lalu memberi amaran bilik-bilik pembedahan di hospital-hospital Gaza telah ditutup dan semua pembedahan telah ditangguh berikutan nitrus oksida anestetik untuk membius pesakit-pesakit sepanjang pembedahan telah habis digunakan.

I envy these doctors. They work remarkably hard, so hard that probably the word tired does not exist in their dictionaries. They hardly get holidays, let alone any pay rise. It's not an easy world to live in Palestine. To most of us, between fight and flight, the latter would probably be the case if we were posted there. These people are still holding to the former, and for it I have the utmost respect towards them.

saya terdengar khabar angin yang mengatakan Jumaat malam ni ada foam party(parti buih). Jika ditanya bole pegi ke x, yang bertanya pn tahu jawapannya. Saya percaya kebanyakan para pembaca adalah 18 tahun ke atas, dan tahu memilih mana yang baik dan buruk.

Pengembara turut menyoalkan adakah ayat yang kita sebut ini hanyalah sekadar mantra yang menyerupai jampi2? ataupun jalan yg lurus menuju ke tempat yg kita tak patut pergi?

Untuk menjadi lebih direct, adalah lebih baik sekiranya pemimpin2 kelab pelajar di sini dapat discourage ahli2 nya daripada pergi. anda adalah pemimpin, dan anda lebih berat lagi tanggungjawab ke atas ahli2 kelab anda.

Fatwa Halalkan Darah warga Arab Palestin

Laman web al-jazeera.net melaporkan bahawa para khakham (ulama besar) Yahudi telah meluluskan fatwa menghalalkan darah warga Arab Palestin (Islam dan Kristian) sebagai balasan kepada pembunuhan kader-kader mereka di bandar al-Quds. Fatwa yang akan disebarkan keapda umum pada hari Sabtu, 29 Mac 2008 melalui majalah rasmi kumpulan ultra ortodoks Yahudi itu bertajuk ‘Darah Yahudi lebih mahal dari emas’.

Rabbi dari bandar Safd, Samuel Eliyahu telah mengesahkan perkara tersebut dan menyeru agar kerajaan Israel mengulangi menubuhkan semula unit 101 yang pernah diketuai oleh Ariel Sharon pada masa lampau. Unit tersebut terkenal dengan kekejaman mereka membunuh warga awam Arab dan juga pembunuhan kelarga-keluarga Arab di kampung Qabyah dan Nahalin pada tahun 50’an. Unit yang diketuai oleh Ariel Sharon itu juga terkenal dengan kekejaman mereka membunuh seluruh penduduk kampung Arab, termasuk wanita, kanak-kanak dan warga tua di dalam sebuah rumah yang diletupkan secara kejam.

Eliyahu menjelaskan bahawa fatwa berkenaan adalah bersumberkan dari Taurat. Menurut beliau darah kaum selain dari Yahudi adalah halal dan mereka berhak untuk melakukan perkar ayang sedemikian. Beliau mendakwa, jika pihak AS dan Rusia boleh menumpahkan darah kaum Muslimin, mengapa kaum Yahudi tidak boleh dibenarkan melakukan perkara yang sama. Fatwa tersebut telah mengundang kritikan dan penentangan dari ahli parlimen Arab di dalam knesset rejim Zionis Israel. Mereka membawa isu tersebut ke pihak pengadilan dan meminta agar fatwa yang berbau keganasan tersebut diharamkan oleh pihak mahkamah tinggi kerajaan rejim.

Agak ironik, darah lebih 100 rakyat Gaza telah ditumpahkan sebelum peristiwa serangan ke atas kader-kader Yahudi ultra Ortodoks. Tidak pula kedengaran mana-mana ulama Islam di Gaza menghalalkan darah warga awam Yahudi di seluruh dunia. Peliknya, apabila nyawa para kader-kader ultra ortodoks Yahudi Zionis yang juga merupakan anggota tentera sukarelawan rejim terbunuh, mereka menghalalkan darah semua warga Arab Palestin. Di manakah media antarabangsa untuk mempamerkan kepada dunia wajah sebenar ‘pengganas dunia’?

I wonder, where do the Christians stand on this matter? Protestants in the US have clearly thrown their support towards Zionism. What about the rest? Maybe they don't know there are lots of Christians too in Palestine. Or don't care maybe?

Sorry, by no means I want to hurt anyone's feeling, especially my Christian friends. This on going issue has not shown any signs of improvement. It hurts to see hundreds die every week for no reason. Israel has been on killing spree day in and day out. We have feelings right? Would you be laughing when somebody close to you passed away? I wouldn't.

It'd be great if all of us, regardless of religion and race, can come together for a better life of the human race. Maybe tomorrow??

FITNA

over the past few weeks, we have observed many strange news. The most remarkable would probably go to the release of FITNA, a 15 min video made by a Dutch. Everyone has written their shares out in this topic, and I don't want to repeat the same thing over and over again. What should be reminded here is we Muslims should not get trapped into this trick. It would be unwise to go down to the streets, burn flags off and vandalize public properties. They are just waiting there to celebrate this win if we react emotionally, rather than intellectually.

There have been calls as well to boycott Dutch products. I am giving my support, although I am being selective in this matter. I have my reasons. I like to look at the bigger picture here. The Europeans, including the Dutch have long associated their economy to us, hence any boycott to certain products will eventually put us on the losing side. It will be sad then to see rate of unemployment goes up, and this does not only affect Muslims but to the non Muslims as well.

Having said that, this boycott is a good way to express our dissatisfaction. As suggested by scholars, this is only a temporary or short term strategy. The boycott was only for less than a month and Denmark suffered quite significantly few years back.

Have some respect, as we always have to you please.
