48 hours

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I am bored to the max here in clinic.

I have 5 more hours to go, and to be honest, I really do not know what am I doing this for?

I work hard and I barely have the time to enjoy this money. I hardly even have the time to have adequate rest.

I have decided that this coming Ramadhan is the time for me to focus on prayers and good deeds. On and off there will be a few slots to be filled in, but rest assured, maximum is nothing more than 5 slots outside.

I need to get a life this time.

How do you define a life anyway?

till next time,

Harimau Malaya

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

The whole of Malaysia is buzzing like mad over tonight's match.

I can't help it, all this while I have dreamed of Malaysia standing on top of the world.

Aragorn has once said "there is still hope".

A tweet from YB Khairy Jamaluddin, 'let this be the night where we ask where were you when we slayed the Lions?

Goosebumps, honestly.

Ramadhan

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

It's been some time eh?

I am sorry. Life's not as organized lately, as I hoped for. So many things have happened.

Forget all this worldly matters. The Holy month of Ramadhan is closer than we think. In less than 5 days, we will have to wake up in early morning for sahur, going up to work with 13 hour spell of empty stomach and prayers at night.

Everybody seems to be excited.

Alhamdulillah, I have been able to endure the previous years. Honestly, you can tell whether your fasting has actually achieved everything but success.

I don't want to go on 30 days of fasting, and the end result remains the same old Azri. Many deem this as a school, where you give your best shot to come out as a successful graduate.

I remember as a student, in New Zealand, it was close to winter and the weather never really helped, really. You could never enjoy your friendship more than what we had here. It was never about race. Malaysians, Arabs, Indians and all Muslims around the world sat down together, waiting for the time to break fast.

I treasure those memories. Sometimes you wish you could turn back time and enjoy those moments again.

Some photos will be up in the next few days.

Bersih!

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Loads have been said about Bersih 2.0.

In my humble opinion, the current government leaders have displayed a sheer arrogance and abuse of power.

You can have your say, and so can I.
