Mark Regev, an Israeli government spokesman, said that the incident was nothing more than a "propoganda stunt".

"Israel would never have done anything against international law, that is inconceivable," he told Al Jazeera.

[SOURCE Israeli vessel hits Gaza-bound boat]

YEAH RIGHT..............

more deaths recorded today.latest is 360+. what are you still waiting for? America to stop Israel?

More or less we are actually contributing more towards the formation of the state of Israel.

Let's get practical here. The Palestinians stand a thousand times better to die as a martyr, while you are out there smoking your cigarettes, and talk tough on how to defeat Israel. Rubbish!

Whether you are a fan of Boycott Israel or not, you have no choice but to help the Palestinians. Mercy Malaysia is sending a team there. AMAN Palestine is ever waiting for your donation. Fingers crossed I am hoping to do my bit tomorrow.

Be proactive. Many of you are busy to go to the bank, so why not be a leader in your office, and start collecting donations, so that only one of you has to go the bank, instead of 15.

I know, with the economic recession and all, we don't have the luxury to donate rm10 each, but 10 people donating rm1 each is equivalent to rm10 too, isn't it?

the least you can do is keep spreading the account no of Aman Palestin. Not the least actually, why not we encourage each other to do good deeds? I do not have any info how to contribute to Mercy Malaysia at the moment, sorry.

and, please stop smoking. The money from those cigarettes goes a lot to Israel. You name the brand, and simple, they own them. Fatwa made in 1995 has clearly stated smoking is haram.

and, please stop politicising the hudud issue. It is our responsbility to first educate the Muslims and non-Muslims before implementing them. Don't leave it to PAS only. and don't expect UMNO to do it, they do not want hudud. Evidence?

Mulakan dan Semarakkan Kesedaran

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

up to this date, 345 deaths at least have been recorded, thanks to Israel. Unless miracles happen, this number is going to increase in the next few days.

Believe it or not, Malaysia is so calm and peaceful that to many of us, this is just another news. This attitude has got to stop. At least to the Muslims, we have got to show concerns, that Palestine is another flag that we need to be proud of.

Imagine if it happened to us, would you stand still and wait to be killed by the Israelis?

Terror and being terrorised are 2 different objects and subjects. Mind your words before you utter them.

Israel never existed 100 years ago. Look at what they have become? A country that is expanding in 21st century? A country that never is, and never was is on killing spree, as if this is the way they celebrate Malaysia's Mega Sale.

When I say this never care attitude needs to stop, and I mean it, the education process of our understanding towards Palestine issue needs to start and be restarted. How? If we/I spend too much time facebook-ing, this will be just another dream like any ordinary individual has.

I admit that I too have not been keeping abreast with the Palestinian issue, and I have only myself to blame.

While I have done my part here, this is not enough. Though we thank all the Muslim countries for providing assistance to the Palestinians, this is not enough. The Arab countries have enough firepower to halt the attacks, and the fact that they only know how to talk is very, very annoying.

Do you really think that Palestin will lose? Never? They are not like us, their faith is rock solid. Should worst case scenario happen, many muslims will change nationality to Palestinian. Many are ready to become a martyr.

Dr. Rantisi's(paediatrician) famous words,

Are you afraid to die?
It's death. Either by killing or by cancer,
it's the same thing.
We are all waiting for the last day of our lives.
Nothing will be changed.
If it is by apache or by cardiac arrest.
I prefer it to be by apache.

There are lots of NGOs out there if you intent to help. AMAN Palestine, Palestinkini and many more. We too have to translate our words into actions.

At the age of 20+, it would be very very very very very unwise to spend all your time on facebook, EPL and gossips. On average, we have only 30-40 years more to live on. Leave your legacy alive, and do not die like an ordinary.

As a Muslim, three of many options are to commit charity, seek and pass knowledge and pledge doa to our parents. Commit charity to our Muslim and non Muslim communities, and seek and pass knowledge to the best that we can.

Politics

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah te Most Gracious the Most Merciful

PAS is making headlines again. They have reiterated their stance on their long standing mission to implement hudud.

It was originally brought up by the charismatic Husam Musa in a debate btw PAS vs UMNO in Kelantan. Next, Tuan Guru Nik Aziz politely asked DAP to come up with reasons why they will not accept hudud.

I will leave to the scholars to explain what is hudud. It is not my area of expertise, thus I will do my studies and keep quiet in the meantime.

However, there are 2 things that I think ought to be highlighted here,

1) Mistakes on PAS' side
a : failure to educate - they need to adequately educate the Muslims and Malaysians the whole principals behind hudud. Well educated Muslims have no objections, and those majority poorly educated and want-to-act-like-ones have a lot to talk about, and these people bring more confusions than solutions.

b : Not in Pakatan Rakyat manifesto - in simple words, they can't violate what they had agreed to fight for together in the last election. Work on common grounds first, and slowly start the education process. This is wise to my eyes.

2) UMNO's immaturity
- TG Nik Aziz was saying yesterday 'Hudud ni hukum Allah bukan hukum PAS. We know at least PAS is doing something, although the manner is questionable. UMNO on the other hand, is obviously fighting for Islam on papers only. Haven't we heard at all they want to implement hudud. They keep saying previously it is PAS's interpretation of the law, therefore it should be rejected. If it's wrong, then correct it. When are the Islamic scholars in UMNO? Why do you keep quiet?? Why haven't you voiced out your intention to implement hudud? Do you not want hudud? Are you too busy corrupting our money?

Comparing these 2 points, one should not fail to see PAS is trying to something, while UMNO has done nothing but talking rubbish.

Our job is to seek knowledge, so that we know we are talking about.

I am a little sick these 2 days. Will be back to full fitness hopefully this Thursday.

Yusuf Estes, a well known Muslim scholar from America was in Malaysia few weeks ago. I was in NZ therefore I could not attend his lectures here. I did, when he came to Palmerston North, August 2006. If i'm not mistaken, he was previously a Christian priest.

it's pretty cool to hear somebody talks about Islam in American accent. wohoo!

here in this video, he explains what is Salafi which has caused so many confusions in the Muslim world. and why we should be careful in our choice of words, for e.g. Wahabi, e.t.c.

KOTA BHARU, 18 Dis (Hrkh) - Mursyidul Am, Tuan Guru Dato' Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, mengemukakan gurindam untuk bakal pengundi dalam Parlimen Kuala Terengganu sebagai panduan sebelum mengundi.

Gurindam itu antara lain berbunyi:

Nak beri rasuah salah,
tak beri rasuah kalah,
akhirnya jadi serba salah,
kerana itu jom pakat undi PAS.

Tulisan Indonesia.

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

together we work now!

AUKU tiada utk ku~

assalamualaikum

“The only sure thing is that we will not be buying Protons,” Lim said, describing the national car’s service as “abysmal”.

Lim Guan Eng's statement today in The Star hurts a lot. While we acknowledge that Proton is nowhere near to Honda or Toyota in terms of quality and quantity, we do not expect any Malaysian to come up with a comment like that.

The comment itself is abysmal. That comment won't help improving Proton, and Malaysia. It keeps the people away it seems to me. Regardless of your political background, if we do not want to use national product, please keep it to yourself and at least strain yourself from public outburst.

Why couldn't he say we want to use Toyota because it gives more value for money. That simple, so hard to you izit?

and to Rocky Bru, as much as I am your fan, I would love to see only decent language used in your writings. Those 'f' words are for losers, and great thinkers do not need those word to get attention.

To me, what is wrong I'll object, regardless of who you are. In many times, it is hard to say it verbally, therefore this is the medium that I choose.

Akta University dan Kolej University does not apply to me anymore. I shall and I hope to be more vocal now.

I am not forgetting Liverpool here. Can you please score goals, Dirk Kuyt? If you don't know how, come here for some extra classes by Safee Sali or Indra Putra. Duhhh... but please, we want more goals from you. If the likes of Hull City or Fulham you can't beat, you might as well forget the title now. Liverpool vs Arsenal this weekend, which you are you readers rooting for? Of course la Liverpool kan..I was gonna watch Chelsea-West Ham last night, but I dozed off before the game started. Back to Reality

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

i am now back to reality. I landed at the modern KLIA on 5th Dec. I went home immediately, rested for a couple of days before celebrating Hari Raya Aidiladha. On the evening, we left for Kelantan. The journey by 2 cars took off at 11pm and we reached Kelantan on Tuesday morning. My brother and I took turns to drive, and though we felt tired throughout the journey, we were reasonably fresh upon arrival at our kampung.

To those who know so little about Kelantan, Kelantan is a state that celebrates Hari Raya Haji exactly the same way we celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Amazing isn't it? To many of my friends who grew up in KL, Hari Raya Haji is inappropriately treated as just another public holiday.

2 days off are given for Hari Raya Haji there. As a result, it was difficult to find nice places for good food. These 2 days were hard, and these Kelantanese, many of them took the whole week off!! Hari Raya puasa x macam tu bro!!=)

On Friday, we hit the road again to Awana Kijal. The place was marvellous, complimented by stunning view facing the ocean. Got discount la bro, that's why we were there. Alhamdulillah...

Tomorrow or the next day, I have to drive down to Putrajaya to meet my sponsor JPA. I need to sort out the paper works as soon as possible. I can imagine how miserable it is to be spending 2 months doing nothing, although this is what I will be asking for once work starts.

I am still tired driving from Kijal therefore I shall continue my time wasting post here tomorrow. My mobile no now is 013-224-8515. I've used Maxis for 7 years, and I need a change. Hidup Celcom!

Post-traumatic stress disorder

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I saw heaps of happy faces when I checked my facebook today. Those faces come mostly from Australia, where many medical students graduated from medical school today. Farah Latif and Affida graduated from Monash, Shawn and friends graduated from Melbourne and few more names that I can't recall here.

Good news is also spreading all over Auckland where almost 100% of my 4th year juniors have passed their exams! God knows how happy they are now, and I know how it feels like. I've been there before.

Many from my seniors say that medical school is nothing. "Hell" will start when you start work. Perhaps they are right, but I do not give a damn about that. It's an achievement, and they have been there before. What the juniors need are guidance from the seniors, and those sayings I'm afraid is of very little benefit.

To those who are staying overseas, I wish you good luck and all the best. Let's face it, it's both money and work load that put these people off Malaysia. For me, Malaysia is my one and only place. It has very little to do with patriotism, as you can be as patriotic as I am even if you are in Zambia. If possible, do return to Malaysia one day, as Malaysia needs you more than UK and Australasia do.

I am now enjoying my life day by day in Malaysia. Everything is smooth and fine here. It's not as hot as I expected, which is a good news of course. However, it is marred by the tragedy in Bukit Antarabangsa. My thought is with you. I hope many of you there are safe and sound.

Still, I can't take my mind off Auckland. It is super duper odd, because academically, everyday was not a holiday there. I worked my socks off, it was difficult but was a worthy journey in the end. Auckland has taught me many things, and these things you definitely can't buy with Mastercard. Adios..

I will leave with one of the possibly the greatest national anthems, together with its worldwidely known the HAKA. All Blacks' win over England before I left gave the perfect end of a beautiful life in NZ.

Anthem lyrics

Haka lyrics

Ringa pakia
Uma tiraha
Turi whatia
Hope whai ake
Waewae takahia kia kino

Ka Mate! Ka Mate!
Ka Ora! Ka Ora!
Tenei te ta ngata puhuru huru
Nana nei i tiki mai

Whakawhiti te ra
A upane ka upane!
A upane kaupane whiti te ra!
Hi!!

Translation...
It is death! It is death!
It is life! It is life!
This is the hairy person
Who caused the sun to shine
Keep abreast! Keep abreast
The rank! Hold fast!
Into the sun that shines!

I was speechless when I saw the Haka by the All Blacks right if front of my eyes in 2006. It was very moving.

Final Entry In Auckland

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

location - elephant stones ke apa tah.South Island, NZ

it's hard to believe that my stay here in Auckland(New Zealand) has finally come to an end. I have completed the basic requirements to secure a job in Malaysia.

location - lake tekapo - South Island NZ

The day that I took my first step in Auckland is still fresh in my memory..The moment I waved good bye to everyone at KLIA, and now I will be back in Malaysia in no time.

location - open house Auckland

location - Auckland Domain. Messi in Action.

3 years have shaped my life to a certain extent, though I am still pretty much the same as I was before. Being in my comfort zone back in Malaysia, life was not as tough relatively. At home, you have family and friends that you can rely on to. Still you find a thousand reasons when things do not go way.

location - 90 mile beach.

The first few months was not the best time of my life. We came in a group of 20, out of which were us 5 Malays. I was the first to be sent to Waikato, 2 hours away from Auckland. The fact I was the Malaysian was hard enough, let alone being the only Muslim there. My diet was basically maggi, maggi n maggi. 2 weeks!!!

location - Shakespear Regional Park, North Shore

2 months later, I was sent to a rural place called Russell, a town which has a population of roughly 2000. Everyday was horrendous, I was counting days for the attachment to be over. The interesting part is I had not enough movies at my disposal, so everyday I decided to watch only half an hour of each movie, so that I would have something to watch the next day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now how cool is that?

location- Auckland CBD, Dinner with TS Muhyiddin Yasin

These are few of many interesting stories that one day when I reflect the life I have had, I could only smile.

location - Anfield. Ibrahimovic in action

To everyone here in Auckland, I sincerely would like to thank you, from the moment I shook hands with you till the part I will wave good bye to you. This is not the place to mention specific names, otherwise some people will get upset. Also, I'd like to ask for forgiveness, for all the mistakes and wrongdoings, I am a normal human being, just like all of us. I make mistakes, and so do you. I want to leave this place on good terms, therefore on my part at least I have long forgiven all you, should you have ever committed anything wrong on me.

location - Rotorua.

To those who will still be here for years to come, I wish you good luck and all the best for your future. I don't know about you, but it hurts me to see anyone failing in academic fields. Danny agreed with me, that many times we want certain parties to learn their lessons, but not in a way that it gives troubles to your parents and sponsors.

location - Eden Park . All Blacks vs Ireland.

Make the best of your time here in Auckland. Maximise your potentials, and always keep in mind that you always want to look back at your past with pride. To turn it to reality, you have to work for it. I may have not been the best student, but I am proud to be where I am now. Proud as in 'bangga' yang berpatutan, please do not interpret it as 'riak'.

location - flat 14. Malaysia vs Myanmar. Pestabola Merdeka.

To Muslims, if you have ever heard of 'once a black, you'll never go back'. Consistent with that, once a Muslim, you are always a Muslim. Consistency/Istiqomah in doing many small things is the key. Do not look at Liverpool or Arsenal as your way of life, they are consistently inconsistent. Keep your faith in Allah, do not forget your prayers, even if you are a medical student and you are posted to a middle of nowhere, please toe the line.

camping in 1st year - Waitakere

Should you need any help, do not hesitate to contact me. It is this feeling that you become a senior, that you want to help your juniors to pass and not to repeat the mistakes you did before. Hehe..that's true isn't it?

location - North Shore. Malaysia vs NZ All Whites

My contact details
email : jeghi83@yahoo.com
YM: as above
phone: nanti balik msia mintak la, through YM or email ok.

it's 1.000am, and Im starting to feel sleepy. Thanks Allah, thanks my parents, thanks friends and thanks everyone for making me what I am today. Keep in touch, and I will surely miss everyone here. till next time, and so long Auckland.

Medicine, Engineering and Religion

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Medicine, Engineering and Religion are 3 of many interesting fields, regardless if they are interrelated to one another or not.

Many times I have emphasised the necessity to think critically and creatively.

For example in medicine, hypertension(or high blood pressure) is a disease that has become an endemic in Malaysia. To manage this issue both critically and creatively, we tackle hypertension through modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors. The decision to use Beta Blockers and not thiazide is based on evidence, through a precise study.

In engineering, though I am not an expert, the construction of Petronas KLCC was based through knowledge, and one can't simply build an 88 level towers by placing a brick on top of another.

Let's take it to the yoga's fatwa issue, too many minds have become so slow to analyse criticially and creatively. You have to question why yoga is wrong, what evidence do they have, can we modify so that it can become practicable, what alternatives we can provide if it's truly forbidden and ask more and more questions.

This is the mistake that the passive minded Fatwa Council has failed to realise. They expect everyone to follow them blindly, when this is the last thing we want them to do. They should educate, and the practice of suddenly throwing fatwa to everyone's face is wrong.

Dr Asri, the soon to resign from Perlis's Mufti position, spoke to The Star re this issue.

Come to think of it again, only a few Mufti's are recognised to the eyes of Malaysian public, thus how we can place our trust in the Fatwa Council 100% when we hardly know them?

We the Malays do not need these passive Mufti's anymore!!

Yoga - My Side

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I am back in Auckland. South Island(NZ) was absolutely amazing. It's hard to describe the experience in words, they are just so wonderful.

If you are looking for things like Movie World or Gold Coast, then Australia is perhaps the best choice. NZ is best known for its Milford Sound, Fox Glacier, Cape Reinga and extreme sports. The pics shall come in the next few days, InsyaAllah.

I had very limited internet access during the trip. I honestly a little bit surprised to see the news today. One of many that caught my eyes was the fatwa made by the National Fatwa Council re yoga.

Many have also defended the decision, although many have openly expressed their disappointment. Many have criticised emotionally, and a lot also have given their input, which is more appropriate.

There are flaws of course. I'll tackle this issue to the best of my understanding.

Before any fatwa is issued, the topic raised will be sent out to top university lecturers for further studies. Some of these issues may take months, and once a conclusion has been made, the Council will have the final say to accept or reject it. The yoga issue has been in the news for months remember, before the fatwa was released. The comments you have made, should have been made many months ago, not now.

Therefore before discussing this issue more deeply, please stop criticising the National Fatwa Council for not doing homework. If you have no knowledge of what is happening behind the scene, please shut keep quiet, otherwise you will look stupid if one proves you wrong.

The fatwa council itself has flaws. Over the past few years they have been to passive. They are too slow sometimes, that many times we have observed they wait for things to happen, for them to act. Islam teaches us not to follow things blindly, and many I am sure still remember that one of types of faith/imam that we learned in SPM was 'taklid(ikut-ikutan)'. The Council should instead educate what is wrong and what can be corrected for yoga to be safely practised by the Muslims. The fatwa has caught rather by surprise to many, including the non-Muslims.

Although these flaws are not academically mature, they should be discussed intellectually. Do not simply accuse these ulama's as conservative when you yourself are not smart enough not to tackle issues wisely.

Another surprise which is not too nice is the criticism by The Hindu Sangam. As we have lived together for many years, the Muslims respect your religion including the no-beef in meals, and no-pork in Muslim food, whatever fatwa issued should be regarded as internal matters of the Muslims, rather than a way to show disrespect to the non-Muslims.

Maybe I am not able to express my thoughts so cleverly here, that I recommend you to have a read at Rocky Bru's-What is Hindu Sangam saying and Tun Mahathir's Dont Make it a religous issue.

“It is like saying Muslims should not eat pork and it is not an insult to the Chinese.

“It is the same when Muslims cannot do yoga, it is not because they are insulting the Hindus.

“It is just that they should not do it. Like all other things forbidden among Muslims, it is not an insult to others. - Tun Mahathir

as I have always preferred, take things intelectually. Many of you are university educated, you would use the best text books when it comes to your discipline, for us Muslims, Quran and Hadith are our main sources when it comes to Islamic matters. As a friendly reminder, your opinion is not a say of Islam, unless they come from these 2 sources. Do not go around, and tell everyone 'they should do this and that'.

Before I end, has any of you have actually checked what the current contemporary scholars say about yoga? Or is it Malaysian scholars are the first one?

It will be interesting to see the development in the next few days.

Happy

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

here comes the good news

I have passed my final year in medical school!!!!!

first and foremost, I thank Allah for making this possible.

Secondly, I thank Allah for still giving me the chance to enjoy this success.

Thirdly, credit goes to Allah for rewarding me this after 6 years(excluding 2 years in KDU) of hard work.

Although there are too many ups and downs here in medical school, I have never lost faith in Allah.

There will be names that deserve a lot of credit in the next few entries. My brain is not functioning at its best, as I was sleep deprived last night. I am 90% sure there would be few names missing if I were to mention them now.

I hope this song should be able to summarise the hard work, and be used to inspire or reignite your spirit.

Ella's Standing In the Eyes of the World
Pahit getir hidup... dan pengorbanan
terpaksa dihadapi, demi kejayaan
terdidik sejak mula, tabah berusaha
tanpa cuba melangkah, tak kemana
di mana kau berada
pencapaian tak tiba dengan mudah
( korus )
kini "standing in the eyes of the world"
hanyalah selangkah dari nyata
keazaman membara dijiwa
menanti saat bebas merdeka
tiba masa kau melangkah gagah
bersemangat ke arah matlamat sedaya upaya
engkau terunggul
wajar "standing in the eyes of the world"
Harapan yang pernah terkulai layu
kembali segar mekar bawah bayanganmu
setiap manusia ingin berjaya
namun tak semua miliki tuah
engkau menghampirinya
kesempatan telah pun tiba...

I need some rest.

yang mana betul ni?

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

IPOH: An opposition assemblyman wants the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) to investigate the legality of the state government’s move to use public funds to help families of Internal Security Act detainees.

“It is illogical and wrong to include them along with those suffering from chronic illnesses, orphans, senior citizens, single mothers and so on,” said Dr Wan Norashikin(BN) when debating the 2009 Supplies Enactment at state legislature yesterday.

PERHAPS she is right.

What she does not realise is the blunder that the previous and current BN goverment have made. To help the family of those detained ISA in my opinion is never a mistake.

If she insists that allocating a tiny portion of the whole budget to help these people is inappropriate, she should remember that it is always wrong to use public funds to detain them in the first place. Firtstly, it is a misuse of public's money. Secondly, you are causing unnecessary troubles to affected family. Thirdly, although possibly the contribution is unremarkable, you are not helping in building a world class economy in Malaysia generally.

I strongly believe what Perak government is doing is absolutely not wrong.

What is more important is to criticise what is wrong, and to support what is right.

If she thinks that single mothers, orphans and senior citizens are not getting enough help, maybe Perak government should also spend some time looking into this matter. After all, why use KEADILAN as the name of your party, if you can't translate it into action?

My Birthday

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I am so thankful firstly to Allah, and also to everyone for all the wishes. On facebook alone I have received easily more than 30 birthday wishes.

I am no more sweet 17 today.Hehe..

As I am writing this, the 1st day of quarter of a century is leaving me. I don't have too many issues with age, because it is clear that it is talents that keep you on top of the league, not age. If age was everything, Sir Alex Ferguson would have won everything because he's the eldest.

Or Dr M the greatest PM because he retired at the age of ?78. Or Khairy Jamaluddin should not run for Youth Chief as he is only ?28.

People make a lot of fuss with age. It is your choice.

Whatever you want to say, deep inside I wanna wish a million thanks for making this a wonderful day.=).

Seram

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

the weather for the past 3 days has not been the best. it is not for me to complain, as Allah knows the what is the best for us. Whatever the weather is, we are very close to having a good summer InsyaAllah.

I know I have not written anything on either politics or current issues. Of course I do want to, but everyone is busy burning their midnight oil, therefore I don't think they will even bother to drop by at my blog. There is not much to blog anyway on politics. Current issues like UMNO's general assembly, Gerakan's making noises and many more do not interest me.

1 thing people do not want to admit is they are interested in Norman Hakim-Abby's issue. To write a thousand arguments here is not difficult, obviously. I will never do that. Firstly, it's not appropriate, and secondly what evidence do you have to support whichever side. One should refrain him/herself from making any allegations, for we are not allowed to slander anyone. Dosa doe fitnah orang...

A friendly reminder, you are entitled to your own opinion, but an opinion will remain an opinion, unless it is supported by facts and figures.

I really have no idea why, but lately I have at least 1 friend request almost daily at friendster. How did they come across my page is still a wonder. Hmm..glamer sangat ke?=)

Arsenal-MU was a good of football wasn't it? Arsenal was absolutely fantastic, the way the passed the ball around, keeping it on the floor and suddenly, bammm..wonderful goal. The last time I played futsal 2 days ago, I know why Malaysia will not make it to the next few World Cups. Everyone thinks they are so good, they are the best in dribbling and never want to pass the ball. Malaysia Boleh!! Hehe, I'm one of these people.

I should stop. this is all gibberish.

Pelik

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

it is an extraordinary event that we now see tens of thousands of ladies especially are interested in politics. So many are happy with Obama's victory. He's charismatic, and that tells you the whole picture.

he is indeed unique. the way he delivers his speech, focusing on his strengths and plans rather than attacking his opponent, or basically virtually everything in his campaign looks perfect.

Americans have made the right decision this time. Congratulations!!!!

Still, unlike the majority, if appropriate, I do not harbour too much hope on him. I know he will bring in many changes which of course will benefit the world.

I reckon that us Muslims should rise and earn the respect that they want. It comes naturally when we are at top. LA Galaxy is nowhere as good as Real Madrid, don't you find it odd that Beckham is there? It's America. everybody wants to be at America. where everything is possible.

i'm mentally tired.i need rest.

Silap Fabregas

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

Sorry for the lack of updates here. Woosh(ISP) has been unbelievably slow, so slow that to transfer a file of 70k took more than 2 minutes.

It is a rare occasion that I am able to even open any website now. Therefore, this will be a short entry.

Good luck to NZ Malaysian students who are sitting for their exams this week and next. All the best!!

and to football fans, I did not watch Spurs-Arsenal game. But I can imagine what a thrilling game it was. Congrats to Spurs! Awesome.

The reports say Arsenal played amazing football. Still, I think the result was fair to both sides. Especially after seeing this comment made by Cesc Fabregas

Spurs remain bottom of the Premier League but the comeback proved Cesc Fabregas wrong after he said Arsenal's ladies team would give Redknapp's men a run for their money.[source: Soccernet]

It's a reminder to myself too. Do not belittle anyone, no matter how good you are.

Stamford Bridge falling Down.

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

phewwwwww....

what a relief.n what a joyful moment to see Liverpool winning at Stamford Bridge, a fortress to the Chelsea FC team. Prior to the match, they held a record of being unbeaten for 86 matches. 86 matches..

As Jamie Carragher had said, the record was there to be beaten. We are delighted to see it was Liverpool who made that record a history. It's perhaps the same feeling those Man Utd fans felt when they broke Arsenal 49-match unbeaten run.

I would like to single out this praise to Xabi Alonso. He was nearly sold to Juventus. He rejected the transfer, and has been working extremely hard since then. He scored some goals in the pre-season games, and he now is playing some good football.

I prefer to be realisitc over Liverpool's chances to win the EPL. It is only October now. At least there are 7 more months to go before they have the final laugh. Liverpool is also known to be playing well going to Christmas time in pre-Houllier era, before they faltered in January and February.

Still a long way to go bro.........

Of course I am happy with the current development. We have suffered too long. Too long that Man Utd has now won 17 EPL titles, 1 short of Liverpool's. We need to distance ourselves from our foes, and maintain our record as the MOST SUCCESSFUL English club in the history. 18 EPL and 5 Champs League. Man Utd is the closest rival to beating our records.

Interestingly, it was news to me when Harry Redknapp took over the rein at Spurs. It's not a bad decision though. It is more to a question of 'why now', after he has built a squad capable of fighting for UEFA Cup spot in Portsmouth. He brought in few top class players there including Crouch and Defoe, and he blocked the sale of Muntari to my beloved Inter Milan.

Having mentioned Portsmouth, I remember talking to probably the prettiest English girl I have ever seen 2 months ago. She's from Portsmouth and was here for electives.

Now I need to get back to my work. Bosan gile buat report.

till next time,

assalamualaikum

p/s how did Robinho manage to score a hattrick for Man City? Congrats Arserih/Serih Wright Phillips. Xazri Alonso(Mr Big Shot) will be back in December to hunt you down. Selamat berangkat pulang ke germany Sani. Belikan aku jersi germany lagi nanti.

Pemandu teksi terima sarjana

KUALA LUMPUR 19 Okt.

‘‘Cukuplah selama 13 tahun saya jadi pemandu teksi. Saya mahu mengubah kehidupan kami sekeluarga.

‘‘Cuma kenangan manis sepanjang menjadi pemandu teksi tidak akan dilupakan kerana sewaktu menunggu penumpang, itulah masanya saya mentelaah,’’ katanya yang belajar selama dua jam setiap hari.

Belajar mempersoalkan

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

WA

Soalan 3) di sini ana ingin bertanya apakah hukum membaca surah al fatihah pada permulaan majlis?
Adakah ia satu sunnah?

disini bukan medan utk bertengkar.jika anda berkeras ingin lakukan, silakan. tapi jgn gunakan nama Rasulullah untuk anda mempertahankan hujah anda.

Hindraf - My Side

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I, PERSONALLY, believe it is a mistake to ban HINDRAF. Surely the claim of ethnic cleansing is wrong. To deny one's right to speak up, it's even worse.

First you ISA-ed them, and now you ban them.

Firstly, If indeed the name Hindu Rights Action Force is wrong, why should PAS get a special treatment. Parti Islam SeMalaysia, and Hindu RAF. Let them be in peace with their religion. One of the Gerakan leaders yesterday questioned yet again on the special priveledges of the Malays. We have not seen any action taken yet.

I can only agree with PAS' Dr Kamaruddin Jaafar's comment:

"There are a lot of coalitions and non-governmental organisations which have emerged and bring up all sorts of issues. It is strange why Hindraf has become the only target," said the Tumpat MP.

Secondly, if Hindraf's objectives are causing so much trouble, bring them to the court. They can decide who's guilty and who's not.

Quran is a complete guideline to one's life. Look at how Islam encourages you to think wisely, and look at the example given

68. Mereka berkata: "Bakarlah dia dan bantulah tuhan-tuhan kamu, jika kamu benar-benar hendak bertindak."

lessons from above:
1) tradition is not the best source for daily acts. everything must be evidence based. E.g. ask your Ustaz to come up with Hadith/Quran why we do this and that. There must be a reason when I say we DON'T have to tahlil when somebody passes away.
2) when you can't back up a claim with facts, you don't shut/beat them up. You become a loser as a result.

There's an interesting article written in Malaysiakini. Unfortunately, you need to have a username and password to log you in. Title is Moving beyond Race by Teh Tarik.

[Preview]
"In Malaysia, if it is a Malay issue it is a national issue; if it is a Chinese issue, it is a racial issue; if it is an Indian issue, it is a non-issue."

It's ironic how I repeatedly mentioned how I hated Utusan that I still visit Utusan online regularly. I don't do one sided story.

Whether you agree, or not, what I wrote above is merely my personal opinions. I am happy to be proven wrong.

Wanita

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

occasionally I pay a visit to PARADIGMA. Honestly I haven't done so in ages. I did today, n I came across a really interesting hadith.

TAKUTLAH KAMU SEMUA KEPADA ALLAH MENGENAI WANITA (ISTERI) KERANA KAMU TELAH MENGAMBIL MEREKA DENGAN AMANAH ALLAH [Hadith riwayat Muslim]

you don't have to wonder why now the divorce rate is sky high in non-Muslim western countries. the same pattern is seen in big cities e.g. Kuala Lumpur when people start to adapt Western lifestyle.

some say 'u need to live in with your partner before u get married'. no strings attached life is fun, but it won't anymore when a baby pops out. AMANAH. what happens next, the girl starts crying, and the boy starts running away. so much for 'knowing your partner well'....

i'm pretty sure most of you are familiar with Spiderman's great power comes with great responsbility.

Satu nikmat, satu dugaan.

Now December?

assalamulaikum
in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
He speaks of how the Federal government has denied the Kelantan people of the development and the projects they deserve as Malaysians. "It's one of the sins of the Federal Government," he says. When PAS (or Pakatan Rakyat) takes of the Federal Government, "that sin" will cease to be committed, along with t"he other dosa-dosa" like the ISA, he assures
So, I asked him about Anwar Ibrahim's December deadline to take over the Government from the BN. The deadline, Nik Aziz told me, isn't important. What's imperative is that the takover must happen. "Mesti," he reiterates.
Fingers crossed...
"We have built our base to go forward, if it (taking power) does not happen this week or next week, it can possibly happen before Eid al-Adha festival," Anwar said late on Friday in comments reported by the mass-selling Berita Harian newspaper
fingers crossed again......
and UMNO on the other side, are fighting for their survival. Gerakan's decision to remain in BN in my opinion will add more liability to the ill state Barisan National. Should you want to believe Dato' Seri Najib's is the saviour of BN, feel free to think so. My request is, don't go around and 'force' people to accept your thought. Only intellectual discussion is encouraged here...
and this video explains  how UMNO was defeated in the last G.E. in a very humiliating manner.
this is even more ridiculous

KUALA LUMPUR: The Cheras Umno division has started a fund to assistUtusan Malaysia in defending itself against a RM30mil defamation lawsuit filed by Seputeh MP Teresa Kok.

Kicking off the fund with a RM20,000 contribution, division head Datuk Syed Ali Al Habshee said the Tabung Azan would also be used to assist mosques and suraus that needed money to buy loudspeakers for the purpose of the azan (call to prayer)
digging your own graveyards huh? Gerakan is trying to be more multiracial, n the other party trying be more........I don't know..
political matters aside, I feel happy today that I have met my long lost Darjah 6 friend.n he's already married.. =)..jumpa kat friendster je...berkurun dh x jumpa..
n time meeting JPA tadi, masa introduction kene sebut nama sekolah..dak2 lain xpe kot diorg baru abes skolah, tp sekolah menengah saya tamat 8 tahun lepas kot..hehe..

Lencongan

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I do in fact, notice that I have been slightly out of control lately. Sort of disinhibited. I have not crossed the line yet, but the more you commit consequently the closer you will get.  I do not want anything bad to happen, honestly.

By all means, if you happen to be there when I'm there, just stop me. I might get angry, but I will thank you eventually.

I don't have to reveal everything what I did, it is best described that I have lead myself astray.  I feel restless, I feel empty. I feel totally opposite to how I behaved in Ramadhan.

Bravo!

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I believe Pak Lah deserves an applause for his bravery. One of the Sarawak BN leaders comments it as 'a rare trait in 3rd world country leaders'. Indeed it is.  Power, money and women, most people can't resist any of these, if not all. Thailand as the nearest example, or if you are so outdated enough, Mugabe from Zimbabwe would I hope open your eyes.

Whether Pak Lah has performed better than Tun Mahathir, I do not think it's fair to compare. There was no Malaysiakini or Youtube in Tun's era. This tells you why Pak Lah is not left with other choices but to resign.

One thing that I dislike is the handing over of the post. As if being a PM is a small matter, that you can decide to sell or buy whenever you want. Let the members decide.  My opinion is UMNO is now not a force to be reckon with,  as it used to be before, and that needs fixation.

PAS on the other hand, are taking 1 step ahead in building racial harmony.

there you go...PAS as a radical Islamic Party is an image portrayed by UTUSAN MELOYA. If you insist on believing utusan, go ahead.

enough of politics.

Have you heard of a song 'Insan' by Rabbani. SERIUS TAK BEST. Don't get emotional, what entertains you does not necessarily apply to me. Relatively, the original version by Yantzen is so pure and better.  I grew up listening to  Malay bands. They are the best. Rock kapak the best.

Kita adalah insan
Menumpang atas dunia
Aku dengan caraku
Yang sederhana

Kita adalah hamba
Berbakti pada Yang Esa
Aku mencari sinar Keredhaannya

Kita sama sahaja
Bezanya cuma amalan kita
Engkau dan juga aku
Saling perlukan

Oh cinta yang murni
Sebagai ikatan
Yang kukuh di hati
Demi masa depan
Jangan dihancurkan
Hidup yang indah ini
Akibatnya merana

Jangan hancurkan
Hidup yang indah
Kita adalah hamba Yang Esa
