1/2

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

in less than 5 days, we will have reached half the 2010's 365 days. Pretty fast, isn't it?

For me, I don't share the same sentiment. I have 8 more months to complete my 'Housemanship'. This means I will wake up early morning everyday for blood taking and early morning rounds.

These are still okay.

At the moment, I feel like my 2 years as a Junior Doctor is nothing less than 730 days working for the public.

Sometimes, I feel we are under appreciated.

Why are we forced to work on every weekend? Do we have no life?

Are we all not married?

Some have had kids, and as a result, they have to repay for the time lost pre and post delivery period.

I repeat, I was in New Zealand, the house officers only see the patients once a week in a GOVERNMENT HOSPITALS, don't have to come on every weekend and yet their quality is....ah, better not talk about it.

I personally think the pay is good. The workload is not that bad.

Only that the way we are treated........

Yeah yeah, 'kitorang dulu lagi teruk'..................

till next time,

4th EOD

Assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I have been on continuous 3 every alternate day on calls since last weekend. Tomorrow will be the 4th. This is madness.

Still, with this new Blackberry in hand(24/7), I am still able to catch up with the recent news of everything under the sun.

I complain too much, that is why. If I just keep quite, everything will be okay, I suppose.

I suppose also that no matter where you are, you can't please everyone. You just can't, can you?

Even better, somebody makes up by saying 'Who does he think he is, thinking me(a senior) inducing that pneumothorax?'

Ego.

Is there any way you can escape this type of behaviour?

Life goes on. I wish you all the best in your future. I too do not want to be on call with you.

till next time,
assalamulaikum

Gambling!

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I think the whole of Malaysia are still in shock over the romour that Dr Asri might be joining UMNO. He hasn't yet, that is the only positive.

I really hope he won't. 1st of all, he will lose the respect of the public. Nobody listens to UMNO, and should he decide to join, that would be an insult to him.

Only a couple of weeks ago, you strongly criticised UMNO for allowing this and that.

I doubt your presence in UMNO will ever reverse their decision to award Vincent Tan the license to legalise gambling.

You are definitely aware that not one, but many have tried to change UMNO from within. They failed miserably.

You can try, but between 2 options, UMNO is less likely to be the best!

Welcoming me!

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I have finally officially joined the BlackBerry family. This is awesome!

I get to message as many as I want, to as many as I want.

Simple, just email/sms me your pin number, and I shall let you have mine

At the moment, I still have 6 more on calls yet to be completed.

You can imagine how tired I am this month.

I hope that explains why there is lack of updates lately.

It's temporary, I assure you.

till next time,

Burnt All Out

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I'm struggling to find time to blog. I'm struggling to find time to do cleaning of my room. The best thing is I'm struggling to find time to rest.

With so many on calls coming, I'm starting to feel burnt out again. Burnt all out. The engine is running on a thinnest layer of fuel possible.

You do the best for your customers/clients/patients, and you care not about the appreciation shown, at times.

Lately I easily blow my top over little things. Why?

I am mentally exhausted. Simple.

Enjoy the picture. It's real.

Kelantan

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I am now in Kelantan. It feels good to have landed here, one of the most beautiful states in Malaysia.

It's different, you don't see KLCC-like buildings here, but you won't feel like having it here anyway.

Kelantan has its own magnet, it attracts you.

At the moment, Kulim is nowhere near my mind.

I just want to enjoy my holiday. That's all.

till next time,
