Terjatuh bangkit aku kembali
Susah payah aku tak peduli
Kerna hidup hanya sekali

Dengarkanlah teman seloka hiburan
Tak perlulah kita asyik nak berlawan
Kita semua kawan tak boleh berlawan
Kalau kita renggang kita ketinggalan(full lyrics)

Quote of the day,

Kata2 S

lain kali sambung wokes.

unwise

Assalamualaikum(peace be upon you, brothers and sisters)

a somewhat unimportant entry

Sir Alex Ferguson can be confusing sometimes. Too long has he been at MU, the so-called biggest club in the world, thats why. He calls Liverpool as opportunists(full article), at the same time he's unsettling West Ham with Carlos Tevez's issue. He even says Tevez is our player now . Hold on, the deal is not complete yet! Who is the opportunist here?

Typical Man Utd. You are never wrong and everyone else is never right.

Liverpool is wrong to buy MU players? Simple logic doesnt apply here. Selling Veron to Chelsea was easily done, but to sell a defender to Liverpool is very complicated??

Quote of the day

assalamualaikum.

taken from Husam Musa's, a speech by Tun Dr. Mahathir in The International Conference on Gold Dinar Economy ;

it amazes me, Tun Dr Mahathir has got the brain of a mature 30+ year old leader though he's 82 now. salute boss!

sejenak

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

how do u respond to an article like this?

I hope it makes us wonder where has the glory old days of Islam gone? the days that u see the Christians themselves came to the Muslims seeking for refuge, because we have always never been unfair to any single living creatures? the days when others, not excluding the Christians defined the whole group of Muslim as progressive, regardless of their(muslims) race and skin colour?

I dont hold any grudges to the owner of that blog, she's a friend of mine. It's only right she speaks her mind. Nevertheless, 1st of all, u dont call Islam as an IDEOLOGY. It is not, as simple as that. While u have ur own opinion, I dont think u will think it's also fair to call Christian as an ideology, isnt it? from Surat al-Kafirun, in the holy Quran, 109 : 2-6

6. Untukmu agamamu, dan untukkulah, agamaku

it's essential for everyone to understand here is Malay and Islam are two different subjects. Of course, Malays are Muslims in Malaysia. There is no rule in Islam defining Malays as Muslims. Whilst I believe there are some parts of Malaysia are overly-critical to the any sensitive issues in Malaysia, to be fair, there is relatively few Muslims compared to non-Muslims in Christianity-dominated America. Statistically, the Christians commit more crimes in America.NOW TELL ME, do u blame that on the RELIGION or the people? I know in Muslims' countries u will blame on Islam. Please BE FAIR and tell me CHRISTIANITY is to be blamed in America. It's really weird, too many of us are easily deceived by the mass media. Any Muslims, we are strictly prohibited to being unfair to anyone, including the non-Muslims. Surat Al-Hujraat 49 : 6

Simple to understand, isnt it? I know u r angry at Najib's statement. Thats not what Im blogging about here. Im expressing my dissatisfaction at your criticism to Islam. Thats not right. U have ur points, but to blame Islam is wrong. Again, Malays and Muslims are two different subjects. Any weakness the Malays possess, it's our weakness and Islam, is the most beautiful and perfect religion. Even the Americans have their own weaknesses right?

chill a bit, lets do some voting here.

EPL is commencing very soon. I sound pretty typical a football fan, but I feel so excited for the coming season. Many teams including my childhood favourite club, Spurs, have bought many exciting players. Liverpool surely will be more than just a club competing for 4th spot now. Go Liverpool. The new signings, including Voronin have shown promising signs. Caya lah! Kita tibai Man Utd sket season ni.cakap banyak plak pas menang EPL. setel kat padang la wei! Man City is also not doing bad this summer, but I really think West Ham and Newcastle are teams to watch this season. thats purely my instinct.

Myself in Milan jersey was merely meanless. Thats my brother's jersey FYI. AC Milan is never my team. I've been changing clubs in La Liga, but a thing that has never changed is Internaziole is my only team in Serie A.

Rugby World Cup is not too far away now. Go All Blacks!

gotta go now. Any constructive opinions are welcome. Im sorry if its a bit offensive/defensive in this entry.

Starting new journey

assalamualaikum.

dengan nama Allah yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Mengasihani.

lately I've been reading a lot from Kickdefella's, Husam Musa's and also other websites. Still, I consider myself as a neutral. When I dont agree with any policies of the Government it doesnt mean I'm anti-government, and vice versa with the opposition. Being a mature, it's always my principle to listen to the other side of the coin when judging. I find this rather more interesting than smoking cigarettes, strumming your guitar and so on and so forth. Interestingly, the Government has raised the cigarettes tax recently and Tuan Guru Nik Aziz also stated they will try to pick non-smoking candidates for the upcoming general election. Thank you very much. This topic is debatable, Lim Guan Eng has his own opinion, but whichever is good for Muslims and Malaysia, I have no objection at all.

BECA'S website has just been lauched. Up to this date and time, 180 visitors have been recorded. We need more input, more suggestions and also critiques. It's an informal organisation to provide a platform for Malaysian community to promote unity within multi-variety activities. The next planned activity is Winter BBQ at One Tree Hill/Cornwall Park(next week). Any further information will be hopefully always updated on BECA.

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

Im deeply sorry for not being able to update this blog.I've been busy with exams coming up, not a major one but still need to pass it nevertheless.

I'll leave u with 2 videos of one of my many favourite players -> Sanz Luis Garcia. He's just amazing. One of the comments in one of these videos : I declare now Atletico Madrid is my team in La Liga. Everyone knows he's nowhere near the level of Gerrard, Lampard or even Ronaldo, but Luis Garcia is Luis Garcia. He's the man for big matches, Gerrard once says That is Luis, he misses the easy ones and scores the difficult ones. not to forget here also is his goal celebration, unique is the only word that suits it. The first video is slightly long, and if you dont really like watching videos then just watch the second one(only 40seconds). the 2nd video says all about him. Good bye and thank you Luis.

2nd video

I have an important announcement coming up in the next entry. tunggu ye!

Assalamualaikum.

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious The Most Merciful

The hadith above is probably about 10% of the whole article by Naib Mufti Sarawak.Have a read. I feel my spirit has been uplifted again. The time couldnt be any better, nicely on time when I need somebody to set the momentum back on already my exhausted mind. With so much notes to be revised, friends at South Island for Bersatu Games, family having gathering more often than usual, Im really in a place where I need a break. It's weird though, I have only be back here for 6 weeks yet I feel unbelievably tired. Yes, I'm back to normal now.

One of the local male artistes that really amazes me is M. Nasir. He produces great songs with lyrics only a few can understand. This song goes ;

Tujuh puluh tiga pintu
Tujuh puluh tiga jalan

Yang sampai hanya satu jalan

Beribu-ribu Margasatua

Mencari raja si Muraq
Yang sampai hanya tiga puluh

Ooh... Sang Algojo
Ooh... nanti dulu

Lihat dunia dari mata burung
Atau dari dalam tempurung
Yang mana satu engkau pilih
Dalam kalut ada peraturan
Peraturan mencipta kekalutan

Di mana pula kau berdiri
Di sini(full lyrics)

post-thierry henry

assalamualaikum.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

It's a huge mistake to let Henry go. Arsenal fans hate this, non-Arsenal fans also hate this. It's NO fun watching EPL with Henry playing in Barca. I respect his decision, hopefully all of us do. Unfortunately the media is giving him bad impression. Only a fraction was taken out from his full interview. I suppose Cesc Fabregas was right when he said IT'S DIFFICULT TO SAY NO TO BARCA. Barca is one of few many teams I like, but his imminent transfer makes me think is Barca going to be a super-attractive football team to watch now. Ronaldinho-Eto'O-Henry-Messi-Deco-Xavi and list goes on, as if it never ends. Real Madrid has shown this policy never worked for them. I doubt it will work for Barca.

I loathe this transfer. As much as i hated Arsenal, it's only because they were playing really good football. Chelsea, MU and of course Liverpool can never play as good as Arsenal. Henry has made football a wonderful game and obviously a huge contributor to the great Arsenal team. MU celebrated when they put a stop to Arsenal unbeaten 49 matches, but for what they celebrated? 1 match u beat Arsenal is not the same as being unbeaten in 49 matches. Yes Arsenal never always get the right results, but we cant forget football despite its competitiveness, it's also an entertainment. Otherwise, Joga Bonito wouldnt be created dont u think?

Do u know that Henry has always likened himself to Allen Iverson? n Henry himself is a good basketball player? impressive.

another wonderful Henry's video.

euphoria

assalamualaikum..

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

It's wonderful to see Beckham leaving Madrid with a medal. One truely amazing fact is Becks rediscovered his top form only after he was dropped out from the England national team. Sometimes I wonder if i need a slap in the face to wake me up. Becks's hunger drove him back to what he was before - hardworking, intelligent, team player and marvellous vision. I need that kind of hunger or desire that will take me to a greater height. I hate settling down on the same level every time. I want to taste success at the highest level so that should I fall down I wont be the lowest point. Come on ppl, give me some courage. I need it.

Im attached to Obs n Gynaecology ward for 6 weeks starting 3 weeks ago. That explains why I have been grumpy a bit lately.

An interesting point here. Looking back at recent Father's and Mother's day, I have seen two similar events that gets me thinking. I have had the chance to observe few labors or deliveries. Women should be grateful that they are born women. Honestly, I dont know but I can feel delivery is a painful process. It might take 2 days sometimes to give birth, though normally as fast as 1 hour. 1/3 of the population here need painkillers to reduce the pain. It amazes me how strong women are that they survive the whole process here. The whole ward can hear they screaming sometimes seriously. Right after after a baby is born, the sweating and intense moments are gone. The mother is smiling. I've seen twice and I can't help but to smile too. It makes me happy to see them so happy. You just dont feel tired anymore. Mother's Day is not a merely remembrance, it is made for you to appreciate your mother. A touching saying- You dont know what you've got till it's gone.

Father - they deserve no less than the level the mother gets. Nothing less. U wont be where you are if not because of them.

this is a beautiful Quran recitation by Sheikh Rahman Sudais(imam masjidil haram). It comes with translation as well. No regret watching I can promise you.

this is the link to latest Dr Asri's videos at youtube. 149 videos so far and the number is increasing. It's interesting to see al-ahkam has received close to 9 million visitors. Keep up the good work!

stresso~~

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

somebody take me home(malaysia) please. Stress nye.. bole gak layan teh ais + main futsal ke kalo kat msia kan? Im not myself at this moment. I didnt set the mentality right before starting this run. I predicted this was going to be super boring, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Lately, im no less like a dead zombie, getting up early in the morning, doing my stuff and come back home. I need to enjoy my academic, otherwise the next 4 weeks will be wasted.

I'm done with one 30-min presentation. One down, 2 more to go. By far it wasnt the easiest topic. Still i reckon I learned a lot(trying to be positive here).

Right in front of me is a key chain that was given to me on my birthday last year. It has my name and its meaning of written on it. Just in case if anyone wonders what my name means, it is

Azri - Bererti keKUATanku atau PENYOKONGku.
Below it, it's written - daya tumpuan yang tajam. Berupaya menilai kebolehan seseorang.

it's wonderful ey? whoever made this key chain, it's nice. The meaning of my name is correct. well, I honestly dont believe in horoscope-like things, although sometimes u think they are true. They seem to hit the right spot at times, which is purely coincidental. Tidak perlu dimotivasikan? Nabi pun mintak doa ngan Allah, mau nye kita bole hidup xde motivasi?

these pictures were taken last year, in Coromandel, famous for their famous amos.not! u can find a very beautiful beach here, and the view here is exceptionally amazing. I dont think we were childish in building fortress here.We had fun and we had our reason in doing so,didnt we?

post-gathering

assalamualaikum

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

this is my 51st entry as I speak here.

Let me start with by wishing Good Luck to friends who will sit for exams soon. Effort + tawakal has been the equation of success for thousands of years. Some have started studying few weeks ago, some havent started to touch their books. Either way does not guarantee good results, however it is the latter that almost always the reason when things do not go the way as u planned. Everyone knows this and I am no different, ironically I never seem to learn from this. why la?

I'd also like to waste no time to congratulate the organisers who organised the Solat Hajat tonight. It's one of the rare occasions that saw more than half Malay Muslims gathered in Surau for one reason. To those who doesnt know, Solat Hajat is a prayer performed when one has a special request or hajat. Whether Solat Hajat is a bidaah/invention when it is done in congregation(jemaah), I absolutely have no idea. I shall let u know when I have the answers. However i need to address something, when it comes to the doa(right after the prayer), it's not neccesary for the jemaah to 'amin' it. Firstly, we normally do not share the same request with the imam. Secondly, most of the us do not understand the meaning of those Arabic verses, so why 'amin' those things that u dont understand. Thirdly, it's not always true but sometimes the Imams themselves do not understand what he recites.

By no means it's a definite no to 'amin' doa. Doa is ur request(s). Ur request may not be the same as ur friend's. Should any of us including me, have free time, try to spare some time in learning Sifat Solat Rasulullah. You would be suprised some practises we do are not the same as what Rasullulah has taught.

On the other side, I'm not condemning, but we always tend to be closer to Allah when we have exams, when somebody dies. Dont get me wrong,I'm glad to see we gathered today. Hmmm....most of these faces are not there when other things are organised. again, why la? what makes today so special that everyone thought they ought to be there? Instead of further criticising, I would like to urge my frens here to come together for other events. We have Quran(not yassin) recitation on Friday night(bkn malam jumaat). Alhamdulillah we always manage to get more than 20 students coming every friday.tapi kan the more the merrier org kata.

Lina Joy's case was finally settled few days ago. She didnt seem to be 'Joy'ful with that decision. While many celebrated the decision, the decision didnt go to well with non-Muslims. I intend not to be outspoken on this matter. One point I'd like to make here, we have to look at the bigger picture here. The issue on her wasnt only to get her religion status changed on MyKad. Should the decision went their way, it's a loss to the Bumis since it will only open the already ajar door on apostasy. Let me stop talking about this issue here. If any of u find it too sensitive, let me know. I'll delete it. Dr. Asri has written regarding to this matter at Utusan(Murtad - Antara Emosi dan Realiti).

at the top of this entry is a picture taken in IMU. Terawih in 2005 kot. lama gile aa..

for football fans, it's fantastic to see David Beckham playing again isnt it? He's a good footballer whether u agree or not. He must be, otherwise Sir Alex wouldnt have picked him in the shirt of Red Devils right. Just like Mat Saleh says Sex Sells, in this case Beckham sells. On and off pitch he seldom disappoints us. Workrate 9/10, crossing 12/10, team spirit 10/10. gile respect aa? tp x se-best Gerrard kan. MOTM for Brazil vs England.

Gerrard - always the man. nasib la x join chelsea ari tu.

sambung nanti plak.

assalamualaikum...

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

yes it hurt when wo lost to AC Milan.Liverpool played well ,only to be frustrated by lack of killer instinct in front of the goal. Milan otherwise had 1-2 clear-cut chances and they took them.Fair enough Inzaghi's 2nd goal was a masterpiece. 1st goal was a total fluke. The introduction of Peter Crouch was too late to make an impact. Everyone could see how he changed the game, he terrorised the defence and helped in the setting up the only Liverpool goal in the dying seconds. MU cum Milan fans were celebrating after the game.penyokong baru ehh? Not little were saying Liverpool were lucky in 2005, but please tell me how lucky more could you get when MU scored 2 goals in injury time in 1999?

there's a good article here.do read it when u r free.it's a bit long.

today also I want to congratulate a fren who graduated few days n happy birthday.sori la xde kad tahun ni.agak bz skrg...i am terribly sorry for that.and sorry too to another fren for not being there when u really need help and company.

satu perkembangan yg sgt menyenangkan skrg website2 agama semakin popular tiap2 hari.syabas!contoh terbaik website Ust Hasrizal.dlm januari n feb tahun ni jumlah pengunjung website lebih 2 juta.on average lebih 30 000 visitors sehari. w'pun tiap2 hari kita dijamu ngan brita hiburan yg x abis2, masih ramai lg yg mencari agama.sy bkn org terbaik utk ckp pasal ni, tp kita kene luangkan masa utk agama Allah ni.sy masih lg surf bende2 melalaikan gak.tp kene surf gak bende2 gini. Islam di Malaysia, masih bnyk lg yg mencari Quran hanya bila ada kematian, ada xm, dan lain2.xpela kita bole buat lg.tapi kalau kita mati esok? agak susah tinggalkan bende2 lagho, aku pn sama je, tp jadikan mengikuti perkembangan agama, blaja agama pn dlm jadual tiap2 ari.approach yg x begitu menyusahkan sgt rasanye...

nape mp3 player sony bean rosak lg?i cant really believe this.i bought bean 512mb for rm600.the newer model of sony mp3 player is 2gb n they are selling it for rm500.thats how fast the technology is moving.better tech, better prices eh?i was contemplating the idea to buy, buy my was functioning mp3 player deterred me from pursuing it.sigh-

menjelang pagi esok

assalamualaikum.

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

I'm back in Auckland.

tomoro is the day.the day every football fans can't never wait.Lvpool vs AC Milan.on paper, both teams should rise up to expectation of playing spectacular football tomorrow. as always, things never always turn out the way you wanted them to be.Should my team,Liverpool, of course, lose tomorrow, it is only natural to feel sad. I wont get disappointed, I think. why should I? to lose a final is normal, one team has to lose for another party to win isnt it? again, should Milan win, Liverpool can always boast with the trophy we won in 2005.the trophy that Liverpool won 5 times. do i really sound defensive?lol!anything can happen tomorrow.whatever the outcome is, i'll accept it.

a really big issue came out in the newspaper yesterday. it's not a national issue by the way.tp manusia, biasa la. i do agree the way he brought up and elaborated the topic was probably irrational and irrelevant. Maybe he was influenced by emotions, maybe he did not voice out his opinions correctly. Nevertheless, no one has yet to take notice the concerns that he's concerned about. The replies(Jangan Hukum...) he has got so far are nothing but true, but some of his statements are true as well, arent they? i know he was wrong in generalising all male malays as one entity that is potrayed as really bad. Israel is always wrong, but they are ever enthusiastic knowledge seekers and isnt that the positive the we can always get. or is it the negatives that we are always looking for?

congratulations to AC milan and Liverpool as well who have made it to the final.we always somehow knew Man Utd would be the LOSER. This is my 2nd time and im not suprised anymore if Milan have more fans than usual in May 23rd. U hate or u like it, that's always the case. I dont care if Liverpool do not turn out to be the winners, but surely everyone gets annoyed if Milan wins and u see thousands of people claiming they are hardcore AC milan supporters. Call me a typical Liverpool fan, but Im 120% sure u'll see lots of ppl saying "aku dh lama sokong AC MILAN". I've been a thick and thin Inter Milan fan, and I bet i know more about AC milan than MOST of u guys do. Ever since the days of Franco Baresi, Maldini, Bierhoff, Van Basten and many more.

My Side

assalamualaikum..

in the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

tomorrow is a holiday in NZ and Australia. Logically as many will do, tonight will be the time when nobody really touches the book. It's a bad habit though, a total waste of time. Believe me when I say it will be the time that u want the most when exams are around the corner.

My initial plan was to have few posts for photos from Wellington trip. Come to think of that idea again, I think it would be a bad one. This page is not made and meant for purely photos. maybe I need to reactivate my dormant fotopages.do u think so?

Few weeks ago, we had another day of Hari Kesedaran Palestin. I have nothing but only good words for the organisers. Good presentation and good food(of course la). The content was not bad either. started with history of when Zionist was formed and ended with Boycott Israel Campaign. I agreed that it's a must for us by any means to stop Israel. Somehow, whether u agree or not, most of us blindly support the campaign 100%. I have to say I'm very selective in my boycott. A boycott on National Geographic, CNN brings no benefit to the Muslims, let alone further weakening of financially-strong Israel. A friend suggested having these TV channels as a 2nd reference. I could not agree with her bcoz we r not talking about political news here. CNN and National Geographic provide more than just one-sided proIsraeli news. It's a different case with Coca Cola, McD and Colgate where their contribution is very obvious yet we continously blind ourselves when buying these products. Some dillema arises when we individually boycott these products, but when going out with friends these are the shops we go to for dinner or whatever reasons u name it. why la?its not easy is it? probably these are my issues, but i think they happen everyday even to the hardcore boycott israel supporters. u tell ppl to boycott, they will boycott.u ask them 3 months later, surely they are now back to where they were 3 months ago buying Coca COla again.these campaign when u dont tell the reasons we r boycotting and dont provide the alternative, nanti macam penat je tp x dpt apa2.in case u might get the wrong idea, i'll stress it again i totally support the campaign. it's just some issues that i have here. btw, the next compaign should be Beli Barangan Muslim. tu yg lagi baik kan? ckp senang, tp sapa nak organise kan??

the title My Side here has 2 reasons. One is to voice my opinions on the Campaigne, the other one is because I like David Beckham's autobiography cover: My Side. Sesuai ngan sifat Islam yg sentiasa memberi peluang org menyatakan pendapatnye.
