We feel repeatedly embarrassed by PAS' effort to call off the concert of Rihanna. This is not the first time they have done that.

Instead of trying to get it banned, what they should try is to get the Muslims not to step even a foot nearer to the stadium. If the non-Muslims do want to go, then let them be.

We all understand why the Muslims are not allowed to go. I am willing to throw my support to you if that's the path that you intend to choose now.

PAS should be more progressive and organised. They need to plan out their activities, and set short and long term strategies to empower Islam in all aspects, so that everyone will respect us. Both UMNO and PAS lack this, and this is evident by the current state of both parties.

To me, it seems like they prefer to leave the current state of the Muslims where it is now, with no effort to accelerate them forward, but when something comes up such as concert, that is time for them to get off their comfortable leather chairs. This is not right.

We must strengthen ourselves, and the strategy to weaken the foes is not the way forward. As we see in football, offensive is the best defence, thus this is the approach that we must all choose. Do we invent our money to create more weaponry, or we spend more money on how to shelve the attack by the enemies? The latter is not wrong, but the former is better. Why? The latter requires us to wait, contrary to the former that wants to be more creative, inventive and smart. That looks more attractive, doesn't it?

As to the current state of our national football team, I have long agreed that what we need is the change of mentality. Coach Sathianathan had said 2-3 days ago that only 3 players were physically fit. This is not new. The hockey team has the same problem. You can have the best coaches on the planet to come here, but even Ferguson or Benitez could not change anything.

These players lack the pride of putting on the jersey that bears Malaysian flag on it. Simple.No rocket science.

Let Sathia stay as the coach.
