How can UMNO-led BN call themselves fair when this has come out in Malaysiakini?

Over the past two weeks, as if on cue, they poured into the streets of Kuala Terengganu, resurfacing key roads in the city of 300,000.

Most of these roads had already been resurfaced eight months ago when Terengganu played hosts to the Malaysia Games.

However, with nomination day due tomorrow and polling day on Jan 17, the Public Works Department is hard at work in resurfacing the roads, some for the second time for good measure.[source]

so much for a fair fight. When will see the end of corruption under the current BN government?

However, I'd like to thank Pak Lah and the rest of his team for contributing USD1Million to the Palestinians. He has shown the way, now it's our turn to continue the trend of being a generous Malaysian.

I prefer to call it a responsbility actually, given the current situation is so bad.

If it's a leaders' call to boycott Israel/US products, I am ready to comply with the campaign.

Dr Mahathir's interview

"If you stop accepting US currency, the US can't trade and can't make any money, it will become very poor and it will have to stop the production of more and more weapons in order to kill people," he told a press conference.

And since governments are scared to act against the US, Mahathir urged the people instead to take action in boycotting the powerful nation.

Asked on the repercussions of boycotting US-based products, Mahathir said that with every action "there is a price that we must pay but if we keep quiet on these things, matters are only going to get worse".

"Don't use the US dollar... the dollar has got nothing to back it and the only reason why it is still being used is because people still accept the dollar as a legal tender.

He claimed that the money spent on American goods are spent mainly in the "invention, production and manufacturing of weapons that kill people".

If you insist on continuing smoking, it is your call. Please if possible change the brand to Indonesian or anything that is not Israel/America related. Don't make these Palestinians hold you responsible at the Judgment Day.
